Building Centre Jammu is a grass-root level technology transfer mechanism for propagating cost effective building technologies. It can have some or all of the following objectives:
- A technology transfer centre in the field of housing, building and development that disseminates information on cost effective technologies in urban and rural areas.
- A skill up-gradation and training centre for masons, artisans, carpenters, other building work force trades including both urban and rural youth in various cost effective building materials and technologies.
